Our Mission & Goal

Vision:

Kid’s Heart and Art is a 501c3 organization, dedicated to helping kids create beauty in their lives if they have none, then sharing it with their community, through the Kid's Heart Class and the Kid’s Heart Show. Beauty encompasses creativity, acceptance, safety, food, friendship, community, mentorship, and education.

Mission:

To help kids create beauty in their lives with monthly art workshops done in collaboration with local artists and community partners. The workshops will provide food, fellowship and inspiring creativity to all participants.

Goals:

1. To build a safe and inclusive youth-based arts community with monthly classes and events held in every zip code in Roanoke and surrounding areas.

2. To eliminate barriers to artistic participation (educational, financial, logistical) to ensure equitable access to the arts for all young people.

3. To inspire artistic expression with teachers and supplies readily available.

4. To foster relationships by giving space for friendship, mentorship and art-based fun.
