What Guides Us

Every Kid's Heart Class is built to give young people a welcoming place to explore, connect, and create—at no cost to their families.

Freedom of Expression

Every child deserves space to create freely, share their perspective, and feel heard.

Creativity

We encourage curiosity, experimentation, and imagination without pressure to make something "perfect."

Mentorship

Caring artists, educators, and community volunteers help young people build confidence and see new possibilities.

Community

Children, families, teachers, volunteers, sponsors, and local organizations create the impact together.

Learning Through Play

Art education should be welcoming, hands-on, and joyful. Play gives children room to discover what they can do.

Our Goals:

2026: Fund and operate an art class each month from April – December (9 classes in 9 months!) = we did it!

2027-2028: We hope to fund and operate 1 art class in each of the 18 residential zip codes in Roanoke and Roanoke City (18 classes in 11 months!)

2029-2030: We hope to fund and operate an art class in each of the 18 zip codes in Roanoke City and County each month (198 classes in 11 months!)
